SPRO Node for Custom Table

           

            As we work on custom tables in every project, the best place to keep all the documents under one structure is the SPRO. This document explains the way to create a custom SPRO node for customizing a custom table.

This document involves 2 parts.

1. Create a custom node in SPRO

2. Add a Custom table to the above node for customizing the table

Go to transaction code - S_IMG_EXTENSION

Select the Top Most Node of the SPRO or the node under which you want to create your own customizing node. Click on the F4 button at the IMG structure field.

Now click on F4 help for the field Enhancement ID and create new Enhancement ID by clicking on the NEW button as shown in below screenshots.

Now click on the Enhance Structure

Now to add the custom Node, click on the 3rd button as shown in the screen shot.

Enter the title for the Custom node:

Creating SPRO Node for Customizing custom tables:

Select the Custom node Created and click on the button "Insert Activity as Subnode".

Enter the ID and Name. Click on CREATE and create the documentation.

Go to Maint. Objects tab.

As shown in the screen shot enter the Customizing Object, Ty and Transaction and save it.

           

Now go to SPRO and check the Custom Node created.
